Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of access to Course A, a professional resource dedicated to studio production in motion. It covers studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and creating smooth high-quality workflows for television news and live shows. The policy governs transactions made through the commercial website operated by headlinofy and extends to both one-time purchases and any subscription-based access where applicable. It does not cover third-party products or services linked from the site.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for premium features, extended access periods or customised training modules. Any such charges will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not included in the displayed price.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. All card payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon submission of your order details. headlinofy does not store your full card details. Authorisation holds may appear on your statement until the transaction is completed or cancelled.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

Once you submit your order and payment is authorised, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order reference. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation email. Access credentials or download links are provided shortly after confirmation, subject to successful payment clearance.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed without giving a reason. For digital content, cancellation rights end once you begin downloading or streaming the material if you have expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that your cancellation rights will be lost. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but refunds are subject to the rules below.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for unused access periods where cancellation occurs within the statutory 14-day period. Refunds are not available after you have accessed or downloaded substantial portions of the course content. Promotional or discounted purchases, gift vouchers and completed live workshop sessions are non-refundable. Technical issues caused by your own equipment or internet connection do not qualify for refund.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order reference, full name, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Include the date of purchase and any relevant transaction details. Requests must be made within the applicable cancellation period. We may ask for additional verification to prevent fraud.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Upon receipt of your request we will inspect your account activity to confirm eligibility. You will receive an acknowledgement within two working days. Approval or rejection will be notified by email within 10 working days. If rejected, we will explain the reason and offer any available alternatives such as credit toward future purchases.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, although bank transfers may take longer depending on your financial institution. You will be notified once the refund has been initiated.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase. By proceeding you agree that your cancellation rights end upon delivery. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to the same refund rules as standard purchases unless the offer terms state otherwise.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

If a payment fails we will notify you and allow one further attempt. Duplicate charges will be refunded automatically once identified. Chargebacks or suspected fraudulent activity will result in immediate account suspension pending investigation. We cooperate with payment providers and law enforcement where required.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom you retain all protections provided by law.
